Team History:
The Bouley team #26 was started back in the mid 1940’s by George Bouley (Scotts Grandfather) driving vintage open wheel race cars starting a family tradition. George Bouley II (Scotts father) kept the racing family going through the 60’s, & 70’s at various speedways throughout New York and Connecticut with numerous wins under his racing career. In 1983 at the age of 18 Scott Bouley took over the wheel of the #26 machine starting his racing career at Riverside Speedway in Agawam Mass.
Scott raced in the Pro-Stock division and started traveling to area speedways in CT posting first place wins in several feature races of the Pro-Stock division.
In 1995 the Bouley family decided it was time to step up to the Nascar Racing Series and enter into the Busch North Division.
It has been 12 great years in this series with many changes throughout the years and the Bouley team continues to race hard and draws a large fan base from all the local area race tracks along the northeast states.
Nascar racing has grown to be the 2nd largest growing sport in the United States with over 75 million fans. As the sport grows, the financial demand to operate a racing team also increases.
The Bouley family team is constantly challenged against the heavily funded corporate teams with much more financial backing in the Camping World Series.
